SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 2 – Casius Ernest is under
supervised release. He is
looking for work but finding
it slow going. He is not
vaccinated.
On November 2 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Kimba M. Wood held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Ernest's
lawyer was not present, but
Judge Wood called the report
mostly positive and with
Ernest's consent proceeded.
She asked about
employment and he said he
might have to return to the
job he had before he went to
prison.
The problem is,
it involves outdoor work and
the cold is
coming.
Judge Wood
asked, Are you vaccinated? The
answer was No. Judge Wood
asked, Do you want to get
vaccinated?
The answer was a
more emphatic No.
Judge Wood
set a next conference for
December 2 at 2:30 pm and
wished Ernest look in finding
a job.
The case is
US v. Ernest, 12-cr-442 (Wood)
