SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 5 – Mouhame Sanogo was
arrested for allegedly
stealing $1400 worth of crack
and a gun by pointing a gun at
a Confidential Source's head
on West 120th Street on
November 3.
On November
4 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron held a detention or bail
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Mid
proceeding, at 8 pm, the
lights in Judge Aaron's
chambers went out. Sanogo was
a appointed a publicly paid
CJA lawyer, from the Quinn
Emanuel law firm.
Sanogo was detained, and as
the proceeding ended said, I
didn't even get to speak. His
lawyer assured him he would be
calling him.
