SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 15 –
Victoriano Tavarez, a
self-described blind person,
sued Bella + Canvas under the
Americans with Disabilities
Act for having an inaccessible
website.
On March 15, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
The
plaintiff says he wanted to
buy lounge apparel. Judge
Aaron said amended pleadings
are due April 11, responses by
May 11. Trial is scheduled for
November 30.
The case is

Aaron)
