SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 2 – OFF-WHITE
sued a slew of storefronts and
online businesses, who
declined to show up in
court.
On February 1,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John P. Cronan held a
default hearing. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Cronan
asked about these cases and
was told that sometimes Paypal
gives the plaintiffs
information and sometimes not.
Here, none of the
25 defendants showed up.
Now on August 2,
Judge Cronan held another
conference, and Inner City
Press again covered it. Still
no defendants. But things were
not entirely easy for the
plaintiffs - it was noted that
they had not briefed or
provided any authority for the
desired turnover of the domain
name(s). They will file a
motion for reconsideration.
The case is
OFF-WHITE LLC v.
2019CHEAPJORDAN.COM, et al.,
19-cv-8531 (Cronan)
