SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 14 – Alparagatas in a
Brazilian company making
footwear under the Havaianas
and Dupe brands. It has been
sued for breach of
contract.
On
December 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Loretta A. Preska held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Preska reminded the parties
that they are businesses, that
the case should not be stalled
on the issue of paying a
$10,000 fee.
She told one
counsel, Don't be sniping at
me, noting that there is a
enough fault to go around.
The case is
Monteiro v. Alpargatas, S.A.,
