SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 19 – Eric Robinson.
was sentenced on August 21,
2017 to 18 month imprisonment
for attempt and conspiracy to
commit wire fraud, by U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
then-Judge Katherine B.
Forrest.
On August
25, 2019 he is charged with
being in a vehicle in The
Bronx with another person
under Supervised Release for a
felony, with fleeing from the
police and not telling his
probation officer about it.
On November 15, Assisant US
Attorney Michael D. Neff wrote
to SDNY Judge P. Kevin Castel
saying that Robinson would be
admitting to Four of Seven
Violation of Supervised
Release specificaions and
admitting to "an additional
specification in a
forthcoming, amended violation
report to be issued by the
U.S. Probation Office in
advance of the requested court
conference."
But at the
November 19 conference, there
was no fifth specification.
Robinson pled guilty to
Specifications One through
Four in exchange for the
government dropping
Specifications Five through
Seven.
The sentencing,
with a guideline of between
three to nine months, is set
for December 4 at noon. The
case is US v. Robinson,
16-cr-447 (Castel).
