SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 25 – Stalin Santana
Perdomo has been detained on
an illegal re-entry charge.
On August 25,
under quarantine, he pled
guilty by video before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Valerie E.
Caproni.
Strikingly, Perdomo during his
confinement has not physically
been seen not only by Judge
Caproni but also by his
Federal Defender.
Judge
Caproni asked Perdomo where he
was living when he was
arrested.
"The
Bronx," he said.
Judge
Caproni said the October 19
sentencing, if at all
possible, should be in person
so she can see the person she
is sentencing.
The case is US v.
Santana Perdomo, 20-mj-7337
(Caproni)
