SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 15 – Kowan Poole is on
supervised release after
conviction for wire fraud.
On July 15
he faced possible remand to
prison for a violation of
supervised release before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Poole had
difficulty signing in to the
Skype for Business platform;
he was asked to "enter [his]
business organization." Once
he got on, he described the
business he is running, saying
it has been impacted by
COVID-19 lockdowns.
Judge
Failla ulimately did not order
remand, but instead home
incarceration.
The case is US v.
Poole, 20-cr-3 (Failla)
