SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 11 – Lisa Santiago
slipped and fell on the
sidewalk outside
Inter-Continental Hotels'
Candlewood Suites in Nanuet,
New York, on June 29, 2019.
She sued.
On July 9, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge
Sarah Netburn held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Because the
argument is that the slip and
fall exacerbated a
pre-existing injury, Judge
Netburn ruled that the
defendant is entitled to
Santiago's Montefiore Hospital
records that pre-date the slip
and fall. An authorization
will follow.
The case is
Santiago v. Intercontinental
Hotels Group Resources, Inc.,
20-cv-9721 (Nathan / Netburn)
