SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 19 – Ronald Sumpter was
arrested and detained on
September 28, 2020 on a
warrant from... 1993. He was
ordered detained as "Risk of
Flight/Danger."
On October 19
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Sidney H. Stein held a
Violation of Supervised
Release proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Stein
had signed the arrest warrant,
following one in 1993 by Judge
Robert W. Sweet, Rest in
Peace.
On October 19
Judge Stein agreed that time
served and an ending of
supervised release was the
most just outcome.
