SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 14 – Kyrin
Conyers was sentenced to sixty
months on a gun charge -
specifically, carrying a gun
for a few days after he got
shot.
Then after
he was out on supervised
release he was charged with
violating the conditions of
his
supervision.
On December 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Kimba H. Wood held a VOSR
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
In
previously sentencing Conyers,
Judge Wood had found that
"Conyer's crime did not
involve violence, he does not
have a history of violence."
This time, all of
the specifications were
dismissed and ordered
that the location
monitoring bracelet be
removed.
The case
is US v. Conyers,
17-cr-94 (Wood)
