SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 13 – John Depeyster is
awaiting sentencing and on
July 13 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Gregory H.
Woods suggested doing it in
person as early as next
week.
Depeyster's
lawyer Inga L. Parson said she
is scheduled to visit prisons
in Massachusetts next week,
them proposed putting it off
more than a month to August
24.
Judge
Woods, who had said pointedly
that the SDNY courthouse is
ready for in-person
proceedings which he said are
already taking place (Inner
City Press is on the lookout
but so far has seen only one
scheduled, without appearance,
before Chief Judge Colleen
McMahon), agreed to August 24.
The case is US v.
Depeyster, 19-cr-253 (Woods)
