SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 9 – Saiquan Robinson has
been charged with being a
felon in possession of
ammunition on May 27, 2020. On
August 28 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Denise L. Cote
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Cote
asked, as she does, about a
trial date.
She said that
legal visits to the MCC should
begin soon - this even has
they have already begun, at
least for high profile sex
trafficking defendant(s), at
the MDC - Ghislaine Maxwell.
Finally a trial
date of April 12 was arrived
at.
Since then, the
trial was been transferred
from Judge Cote to Judge
Sidney H. Stein, then from him
to Judge Kimba M. Wood, for
trial July 12. But on July 9
the US opposed Robinson's
request for a new lawyer,
which they said was written on
June 25 and should be denied.
The case is USA
v. Robinson, 20-cr-415 (Cote)
