SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 22 – Eric Diaz was
arrested on drug charges
earlier this month, and
detained since.
On October 22
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Sidney H. Stein held a
bail hearing. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
Assistant US Attorney spoke of
ledgers and a blender. But in
the docket, the Complaint was
only the first page, missing
the rest.
Judge Stein
ordered Diaz released to home
confinement, preferably he
said to Yonkers and not
Morningside Heights or Harlem.
He directed that
the apartment in Yonkers be
reviewed and said this might
take until the next week or
beyond.
Now on
February 22, Diaz appeared
again before Judge Stein and
Inner City Press again covered
it. This time it was to plead
guilty.
The case is
US v. Diaz, 20-cr-553 (Stein)
