SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 28 – Curtis Payne had a
slip and fall on the sidewalk
in front of a building on 29th
Street and 9th Avenue in
Manhattan on March 15, 2017.
The building is owned by the
US government. Payne
sued.
On October 28 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Cave
said discovery should end by
January 31. But she also set a
settlement conference for
January 12 at 10 am.
The case
is Payne v. United
States of America, 20-cv-3674
(Carter / Cave)
