SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 14 – Aracelis Sosa-Urena
is charged with illegal
re-entry of the US after
conviction for a felony. He
filed a motion to dismiss the
indictment.
On November 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Victor Marrero held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Marrero denied the motion to
dismiss, and set a tentative
trial date of January 24.
The complaint
relies on a Confidential
Source who saw her in a
grocery store in The Bronx.
Judge Marrero excluded Speedy
Trial Act time until then.
The case is US v.
Sosa-Urena, 21-cr-575
(Marrero)
