SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 25 – The Sherry
Netherland cooperative on
Fifth Avenue was sued for
racial discrimination by Rey
Olsen as assignee of Roque De
La
Fuente.
On August 25 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Olsen said
while he had understood not to
make any more filings to the
Magistrate, his recent filing
was to the District Judge,
whom he called Gar-deaf (later
corrected).
Judge
Netburn construed the filing
as a Rule 72 objection to her
July 28 Order, and said the
matter is fully briefed and
Olsen shall file no further
replies.
The case is
Olsen v. The Sherry
Netherland, Inc. et al.,
20-cv-103 (Gardephe / Netburn)
