SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 5 – Jay Schiff sued ZM
Equity Partners, LLC and
others in May 2019.
On October 5 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge William H. Pauley III
held a pre-trial proceeding.
Inner City Press called in.
When asked
who had joined the line, it
said "Inner City Press, not a
participant, going on mute."
Thereafter Judge
Pauley asked why discovery in
the case was taking so
long. He was
asked, Who is on the
line?
To his
credit he said, those in a
physical courtroom do not have
to announcement themselves and
will not be so required here.
Again he asks,
Are you only asking for delay
in order to pursuit other
aspects of the dispute in
Delaware? That
seems to be spot-on.
The case is
Schiff v. ZM Equity Partners,
LLC et al., 19-cv-4735
