SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 29 – Broadway Pizza
at 1709 Broadway in Manhattan
has been sued for not paying
overtime. But they never
showed
up.
On July 29, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding /
inquest. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Parker asked plaintiffs'
counsel if they had spoken
with the defendants. No. Have
you tried? We called them.
Are they still in
business? Yes. And
the inquest into damages
began.
The case is
Espinoza et al v. Broadway
Pizza & Restaurant Corp.
et al., 17-cv-7995 (Daniels /
Parker)
