SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 19 – Shaquille Williams
was arrest in May and charged
with being a felon in
possession of a firearm. In
June, he was indicted.
On October 19
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge William H. Pauley III
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Williams'
June indictment is being
scrutinized as to the jury
selection, under the rubric of
the US v. Balde case
pending before Judge
Failla. Judge Pauley set
the schedule for Williams tied
to that in the Balde case.
He denied an
application for bail (which
cited "Police-Induced
Confessions," Law Hum Behav
2009), and excluded time until
January 20, 2021.
The case is
US v. Williams, 20-cr-286
(Pauley)
