SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 19 – Alfonso Amelio
sued Quicken Loans for fraud
in foreclosure of his property
at 68 Crotty Road, Middletown,
New York.
On
May 19, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Andrew L.
Carter held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Quicken
Loans, well experienced in
such things, is ready to move
for summary judgment.
Contact
information was exchanged
after which Judge Carter,
citing the privacy interest of
the plaintiff, said that
portion of the transcript
should be sealed to avoid, for
example, harassing calls.
The
plaintiff said he gets sales
calls and they are troubling.
It will, apparently, be
sealed.
The case is
Amelio v. Quicken Loans, Inc.
et al., 19-cv-8761 (Carter)
