SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 13 – Jose Brito has been
arrested before for illegally
entering the United
States.
On January
13, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Paul G. Gardephe
held a sentencing. Inner City
Press covered it.
Brito's Federal Defender
described his hard work, and
his children. The government
focused on Brito's aliases and
previous flight to avoid
capture.
Judge
Gardephe mentioned these and
more, and that Brito had
previously gotten 20 months.
This time,
he sentenced him to 24 months
(approximately one year has
already been served).
The case is US v.
Brito, 20-cr-63 (Gardephe)
