SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 4 – Ricardo Tibby is
charged with the Hobbs Act
robbery of a store on Aldus
Street in The Bronx on
November 8, 2021 - then of a
pizzeria and, separately, a
fast food restaurant on
Westchester Avenue on November
9. Then a convenience stores
on Bronxwood Avenue on
November 18.
On December 2, Judge Victor
Marrero issued an order in the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York,
which Inner City Press covers.
Judge
Marrero ruled that Tibby must
"respond by December 7 by
letter not to exceed one page
to the matter set forth above
by the government."
That matter
involved Tibby's refusal to
agree to exclude time under
the Speedy Trial act.
The case is US v.
Tibby, 21-cr-728
