SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 16 – Daniel Moore sued
New York City and, among
others, Corrections Officer
James, for not giving him his
heart
medication.
On September 16 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The City
defendants have been dismissed
and only James remains.
The Corporation
Counsel said they have been
unable to reach him. Judge
Parker asked Moore if he would
like to dismiss the action, or
move for default against
James.
The latter,
rather obvously. But he'll
need 90 days, since he just
moved facilities.
The case is Moore
v. NYC Health Hospital et al.,
18-cv-496 (Oetken /
Parker)
