SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 11 – Luis Jaramillo was a
driver for Ashkenazy
Acquisition Corporation. He
sued - then he
died.
On February 11,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New
York Judge Mary Kay
Vyskocil held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Vyskocil
asked how the case can go
forward, with a dead plaintiff
and next of kin stepping in.
She asked why this issue had
not been raised or addressed
before the conference.
She ruled that
Defendants must provide
Plaintiff's counsel with any
information that have about
the Plaintiff's next of kin,
and then a status letter must
be filed by March 12.
The case is
Jaramillo v. Ashkenazy et al.,
20-cv-10386 (Vyskocil)
