SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 14 – Bryant Brown
is charged with the murder of

in The Bronx on December,
2015.
On July 14, 2020
he appeared before U.S.

Judge Paul A. Engelmayer.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Back on
April 3, the US had informed
Judge Engelmayer that they do
NOT intend to seek the death
penalty against Bryant Brown.
Still, learned
counsel Florian Miedel will
remain on the case with
Federal Defender Clay
Kaminsky.
One of the
issues in the Second Circuit
Court of Appeals' McCoy case,
on which the Assistant US
Attorney said she needs to
learn more.
The next,
Pre-trial, conference is set
for September 17.
The case is US v.
