SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 14 – The shutdown of
in-person learning in NYC
public schools has been sued,
as "unconstitutional, random
and arbitrary."
On January 14,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul G. Gardephe held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Gardephe began with a
well-crafted statement on the
extent of the COVID-19
pandemic, and the
possibilities of school age
children spreading it.
Talk
turned to mandatory testing,
and to the different approach
of school systems in France,
Germany, Australia and British
Columbia.
The case is
Borelli et al v. de Blasio et
al., 20-cv-9829 (Gardephe)
