SDNY MAG COURT
Exclusive, May 11- In
the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York on May 11, a guilty plea
proceeding was held before
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker on a man who confessed
to using stolen AT&T
account information to buy
iPhones in other people's
names.
Daniel A. Torres pleaded
guilty, in language that
closely tracked the initial
indictment. For other
co-defendants in the case
there is a pre-trial
conference set for June 1. But
no longer for Torres.
Judge Parker accepted
the plea and asked if the
District Judge, Alvin K.
Hellerstein, had set a
sentencing date. Not yet, she
was told.
This case is US
v. Torres, 21-cr-132
(Hellerstein / Parker)
