SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 15 – Jesse
Rodriguez, using the screen
name Hockey Guy, is charged
with traveling into New York
from New Jersey to try to have
sex with a mother and her two
daughters.
On August 13, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Chief
Judge Laura Taylor Swain held
a charge of plea proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Swain
asked Rodriguez how many
minors were involved. Two, he
said. The complaint specifies
their ages: 13 and... eight.
But it was UC-1,
saying that: a law enforcement
agent working in an undercover
capacity, as in the cases of
"Doctor Pizza" and
others.
Here,
Rodriguez' "mental capacity
has been restored and the
defendant has attained the
mental capacity to permit
criminal proceedings to go
forward against him."
And they did.
This case is US v. Rodriguez,
18-cr-488 (Swain)
