SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 14 – A dispute from back
in 2014 about "a certain
product called a Universal
Bending Roll Model CPH 40" is
nearing final settlement in
2021.
On
February 12, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Vernon S. Broderick held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The two main
parties reaffirmed they are
settling. But there was the
question of a third party
complaint. They said that will
be dropped too.
Judge Broderick,
saying he doesn't want to jinx
it, noted that if they want
him to keep jurisdiction,
they'll have to make the
settlement public.
The case is Velez
v. Eagle Bending Machines,
Inc. et al., 17-cv-8900
(Broderick)
