SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 27 – Chloe sued to restore
her 50% membership interest in
an LLC that operates "by
Chloe" restaurants. It was
being mediated but that seems
to have fallen
apart.
On October 27 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Jesse M. Furman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Furman told that parties that
he never gets involved as a
mediator in something what is
set for a bench trial before
him; he might, in the case of
a jury trial.
But he referred
the backlog, of motions
pending before him and bigger
picture of jury trials in the
SDNY.
Judge
Furman set a deadline for any
motion to unseal the
arbitration award: November 6.
The case is
Coscarelli et al v. Esquared
Hospitality LLC et al.,
18-cv-5943 (Furman)
