SDNY MAG COURT
EXCLUSIVE, August 18 -
In the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York on August 18, a
presentment was held by
Magistrate Judge Barbara C.
Moses on a defendant, Michael
Archilla, accused of selling
drugs and guns on Trinity
Avenue in The Bronx.
Inner City Press was there,
the only media in the Mag
Court.
The
complaint says that while
investigating a shooting that
had occurred on March 3, 2022,
law enforcement encountered
Archilla a/k/a Gordo offering
meth and then a gun.
Archilla
was assigned a CJA lawyer, who
consented to detention, with
preliminary hearing put off
until (at least) the 30th day.
The case is US v.
