SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 16 – Aquavit
Pharmaceuticals sued U-BIO
MED, Inc and Nyun Shi Eum
about an Exclusive Worldwide
Licensing Agreement about
micro-injection
devices.
On
September 16 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Robert W.
Lehrburger held a lengthy
discovery hearing. Inner City
Press covered it.
Discussion ranged
from proof of income, if bank
statements should be verified,
and a video still on YouTube,
with reference to Kim
Kardashian: "Plaintiff
contends that Defendants' use
of a screenshot from a video
featuring Kim Kardashian
constitutes a continuing
violation of the MPI."
Judge Lehrburger
asked if there is any chance
of settling the case, given
the costs to the parties and
the burden on the court. It
did not sound like it.
The case is
Aquavit Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
v. U-Bio Med, Inc. et al.,
19-cv-3351 (Caproni /
Lehrburger)
