SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 7 – Kasim Crawford
was charged with stealing U.S.
mail in Manhattan just after
Christmas
2019.
On September 7 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Andrew L. Carter held a change
of plea proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Carter
asked Crawford is he was aware
of immigration consequences,
and waived his right against
self-incrimination. He did.
The compalint
says the mail was stolen out
ofa mail box "located inside
an apartment building on the
Upper East Side of Manhattan."
Sentencing was set for
December 16 at 3:30 pm.
The case is US v.
Crawford, 20-cr-427 (Carter)
