Hatzimihalis has sued SMBC
Nikko Securities America for
gender discrimination.
On March
3, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John P. Cronan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Hatzimihalis says
as SMBC Nikko "supercharged
the careers of junior men,
they systematically
marginalized" her.
On March 3
the lawyer for SMBC Nikko
citing salaries for some other
women and said there is no
case.
Judge Cronan said
to end all discovery by August
13 and be ready for trial on
December 6.
