SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 22 – Sydney Yamasaki
contracted Legionnaires'
Disease in 20 Broad Street in
lower Manhattan and
sued.
On July 22, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge J. Paul Oetken held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Oetken, who had just held an
hour-long proceeding in the
Lev Parnas criminal case,
asked about diversity
jurisdiction, and about the
gender of the plaintiff.
He entered a case
management plan providing that
expert discovery is to be
completed by February 28,
2022.
The case is
Yamasaki v. Sonder Inc.,
21-cv-2158 (Oetken)
