SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 9 – Anthony Rosado was
supposed to appear on July 9
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Jed S. Rakoff. But
he did not.
Judge Rakoff held
a short proceeding; Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Rakoff said
he was not assuming any
ill-will on Rosado's part.
Perhaps economics or
technology prevented his
appearance.
He set a new date
for July 30 but told Rosado's
lawyer Susan Walsh that if her
client does not appear at that
time, a warrant will be
issued. He also said that he
expects the July 30 proceeding
to be held in his courtroom
14B.
The case is US v.
Rosado, 17-cr-744 (Rakoff)
