SDNY MAG COURT
EXCLUSIVE, Nov 17 - In
the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York on November 17, a
detention or bond proceeding
was held by Magistrate Judge
Jennifer E. Willis on a
defendant charged with wire
fraud, theft of government
funds and aggravated identity
theft.
Inner City
Press was there, the only
media in the Mag Court.
The
defendant, William De La Cruz,
had retained counsel, who had
reached a bond package with
the US Attorney's Office.
It was a bond of
$50,000, and other conditions.
There were supporters and/or
family members in the gallery,
with Inner City Press. The
next morning, the complaint
was still not in the public
docket.
The case is US v.
De La Cruz, 22-mj-9006
