SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 24 – Mahmooda Farooqi sued
the New York City Department
of Education for discrimation
against her back on he East
Asian (Indian)
race.
On October 23 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The City is
complaining how hard it is to
depose Ms. Farooqi, and that
discovery production is
late.
At the
conference, it was committed
to complete Bates Stamping
documents by noon on Saturday,
all for a deposition on Monday
in advance of dispositive
motions due November 18.
The case is
Farooqi v. NYC Department of
Education, et al., 19-cv-3436
