SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 26 – Jason Mason sued the
City of New York for injuries
to his eye while in
jail.
On October
26 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Katharine H.
Parker held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Mason,
incarcerated, was not produced
on the phone for some time.
When he was, he
told the City's lawyer that he
would not just turn over his
medical records so they could
be doctored. He said he'd
mailed them, and cited the
14th Amendment.
Magistrate Judge
Parker said she'd tell
District Judge Vernon S.
Broderick that the case is
trial ready, but for the
medical releases.
The case is
Mason v. City of New York et
al., 19-cv-5450 (Broderick /
Parker)
