Have SDNY Jury Trial Delayed Amid COVID

SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 18 – Frederick Scheinin
is charged with child
pornography. He is, or was, a
DEA diversion investigator.
On April 16, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Lorna G. Schofield held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defense said it is difficult
to work with Scheinin while he
is incarcerated amid COVID.
So the June 16
trial date, for which this
case is in first place for use
of the courtroom, might be
delayed.
