SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 27 – Alice L. Correa
accused Patricia Luise Donahue
of stealing the money from
their joint house and moving
to Florida.
Correa
sued, and Donahue is
represented pro bono by the NY
Legal Assistance
Group.
On May 27
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Steward D.
Aaron held a conference.
NYLAG argued that
Correa's counsel in a letter
to Judge Aaron came too close
to describing settlement
discussions.
Judge Aaron
advised keeping anything about
settlement out of the docket.
He ordered the
parties to cover before June
3, and proposed a settlement
conference date in mid to late
July.
The case is
Correa v. Donahue, 19-cv-10099
(Castel / Aaron).
