SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 18 -- In an indictment of
more than a dozen defendants,
some facing capital charges
and some not, a defendant
still on the loose was
presented on March 11 in the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrates Court.
He was Ranell
Sloan, and he has been
described in the government's
February 21 letter to SDNY
Judge George B. Daniel as "at
large." No more.
Judge Daniels requested that
"the defendants be arraigned
in two groups given the number
of defendants."
Assistant US
Attorneys Adam S. Hobson,
Michael D. Longyear and Jacob
Warren replied that "Ranell
Sloan remains at large. Willie
Evans, Jamarr Simmons, and
Daron Goodman face capital
offensnes." [sic].
The case is US v. Evans, et
al., 20-cr-57 (Daniels).
