SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 7 – Tavares Hobbs
sued Knight-Swift
Transportation Holdings, Inc.
wanting to start of a class
action of truck drivers
victims of non payment of
overtime and minimum
wage.
On February 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stewart D.
Aaron held a proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
The
defense lawyer said they would
be the one moving on class
certification, opposing it.
They cited a
restaurant case before SDNY
Judge Carter which they said
showed this is allowed.
