SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 9 – TIAA Bank was sued by
its employees in four states,
for Fair Labor Standards Act
violations.
On December
9 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Alison J. Nathan held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
TIAA Bank's
counsel complained that the
class action lawyers had been
soliciting opt-ins, now in six
states, and don't need more
time.
Judge Nathan
discussed notices, and said
she'll want a letter by March
9.
The case is
DeSimone et al v. TIAA Bank,
FSB, 20-cv-6492 (Nathan)
