SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 1 – Johnny Roman
is charged with sexual
exploitation of a child and
extortionate
communications.
On July 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge J.
Paul Oetken held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
In the
complaint, Roman is referred
to as User-1, encouraging
child pornography though
communications with young
women, "including extortionate
communications."
He was identified
because he used the same phone
to file a claim for
unemployment.
Judge Oetken said motions are
due by November 12, with
another conference on December
15.
The case is
US v. Roman, 21-cr-190
