SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 14 – Bina Radosti sued
Hudson's Bay Company and Lord
& Taylor for disability
and age discrimination.
On
April 21, 2021, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Vernon S. Broderick held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Rodosti
despite severe foot pain was
told to wear high-heeled
close-toes shoes. The parties
say they cannot settle.
Judge Broderick
told them about the provisions
for jury trials in the SDNY,
mentioning that a rapid COVID
test may be in the works for
jurors.
Jump cut to
September 14, when talk turned
to how many trial are ahead of
this one, on stand-by.
Plaintiff's counsel used to
work with the assigned
Magistrate, so while the
parties said they had no doubt
about objectivity and
neutrality, asked for another
Magistrate. By name.
Judge
Broderick said it must go back
to the wheel.
The case is
Radosti v. Hudson's Bay
Company et al, 18-cv-12266
(Broderick)
