SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 9 – Allstar Marketing
Group sued 76 websites or
storefronts for trademark
infringement.
On
March 9, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge John P. Cronan
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
75 of the
defendants were straight up
defaulting. Another,
XIAOYUQI2234, may not have
been served this time, but was
earlier in the proceeding and
a case was cited saying this
is enough.
The plaintiff's
lawyer made the argument that
these defendants should be
discouraged from violating
other people's trademarks too.
The case is
ALLSTAR MARKETING GROUP, LLC
v. AFACAI, et al., 20-cv-8406
(Cronan)
