SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 10 – Coach sued Chunma for
what is says are knock-off
purses.
On November 10
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Jesse M. Furman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
complaint shows the bags are
similar, though Chunma's look
like G's, not C's.
Judge Furman
referred the parties to
mediation, while ordering that
motions are due December 10,
with a pretrial conference (if
still necessary) set for March
16, 2021.
The case is
Tapestry, Inc. et al v. Chunma
USA, Inc. et al., 20-cv-271
(Furman)
