SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 18 – Levente Nagy sued MHP
Land Associates LLC for
injuries he suffered as a
construction worker at 155
East 31 Street a/k/a Windsor
Court on January 23,
2019.
On November 18, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Robert W.
Lehrburger held a discovery
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The defendants
were asking to extend
discovery to be able to depose
the plaintiff's economic
expert Kucsma.
But Judge
Lehrburger found that the
Defendant "sat on its hands
for months and unreasonable
issue a deposition demand
merely a week before the
expiration of
discovery."
So discovery was
closed. Now, how to tell the
client(s)?
The case is
Nagy v. MHP Land Associates
LLC et al., 19-cv-6395
(Gardephe / Lehrburger)
